Androgyny at its best

I have recently been swayed to the beauty of Andrej Pejic, a model who redefines the borders of androgyny having walked in both womenswear and menswear very convincingly during the Lino Villaventura show at San Paulo Fashion Week. 
I find it amazing that he has the type of androgynous beauty that with different makeup and clothing he can effortlessly shift from gender to gender without anyone being the wiser.

Playing in the Park

So yesterday triple J announced this years park life lineup, I didnt attend last year due to the lack of people I really cared about seeing that I hadn't already seen.

This year however is different.
My major favourites are The Naked and Famous. I adore them. 
Then there are others that contribute to my park life lust such as Lykke Li, Crystal Fighters, Katy B, The Streets, and Santigold (even though I've seen her multiple times she is always awesome.

Another obsession

While we are away in fiji our rooms are getting renovated! (Yay no more room from when i was 10). So my current obsession is home deco. I have purchased multiple unnecessary items from urban outfitter, as well as stalking thrift shops for awesome furniture and today my current love is typo. They have some of the cutest and yet most unnecessary things that I must have. 

I don't need an owl lamp (I already have glowing mushroom lamps) and I don't need lace lanterns (I already have fairy lights across the back of my bed) but I still feel like these can fit somewhere in my room. Maybe in my new super big closet (yay yay)

I have been lusting after ELLERY pieces since I can remember and this year is no different. I cannot wait for the day when I can happily afford a piece (or 10) without living without food, water and heat for several months.

Jagger Madness

I have been dying for these Mink Pink Jagger Leopard Print Jeans since my last pair of animal print jeans have finally been worn out and lost all shape. And finally they are back in my size at MHQ. So obviously I had to purchase them. I sussed out some other pairs but they just didnt have that same worn and effortlessly awesome look. 

And the fact they were surprisingly cheap meant that I should add some other awesome and also cheap items to my basket to make it worthwhile ;)

The Poetic Justice Blouse is a gorgeous deep red wine colour that is amazing, and the sheerness of the shirt will make it perfect to throw over maxis during the winter.

The Tail Em Up Shirt is just a fantastic draping version of a classic shirt. This will definitely be a staple in my wardrobe.  

Also due to my lack of height i had to return a Miss Unkon Dress to Princess Polly, however on the bright side I now have a large credit note, and have happily spent my time browsing the site adding multiple things to my wishlist (which now has to be culled). Oh happy distractions from exams

They are also on my super warm furry blanket which is perfect for these cold winter nights

Hell Is So Hot Right Now

Yet another awesome Fall 2011 Lookbook, this time from the awesome people at UNIF. I may or may not be obsessed with the studded leather jacket (even if it is a Mens one).

Le Boy La Femme

Today Katy and I wanted to wear our (relatively) new clothes from ASOS

I have been wearing the death out of these jeans since I got them as they are exceedingly comfortable and perfect for lying around winter days however, whenever I wear them with flats (especially brogues) I start to feel slightly mannish, However today I realised that with a little bit of feminine glitter and structure its all balanced out (thank you sass and bide knit) now making it one of my most comfy outfits ever!


Katy had been searching for ages for a great pair of doc martins, and when she saw these, they were perfect, still that masculine doc martin shape with a gorgeous floral bright print. Ah love at first sight.

Choyan Saturday

I had insatiable cravings for BBQ pork buns, and Katie is always up for anything in the chinese food realm so today we trotted off to Choyan's.
